Sub Plans Thursday, 9-15-16 Day Five

7:35 C Period - Mrs. Cohen will run this ELA class. There will be a lesson on editing and revising. After the lesson, kids will edit and revise their stories on their Chromebooks.

8:22 D Period - Most kids will likely need more time to edit and revise. Kids that finish before 9:13 should make a hand drawn cover for their story. Give them blank paper. The cover should capture the mood of their story by using a combo of words and illustrations. A title and author must be included. The title can be changed from “11” to something that works for Mrs. Price’s version of the story.  If there’s time, students may read an SSR book.

9:15 Flex time - some kids will need more time to finish their stories - either the first drafts or second drafts. Otherwise, SSR time. This should be a silent working time.

Kids will go to the auditorium at 9:55 for picture day.

10:06 Connections. Mrs. Langmeyer will guide this class. Students should go to her room.

10:28 lunch      10:48 recess - go outside to help supervise

More time will be provided tomorrow, if kids need time to finish editing and revising.
