Write down names of kids who successfully recite it.

Scary Drawing - Give the kids blank white paper to draw the scariest monster they can conjure. Do not draw famous movie or TV characters. The image must come from one’s imagination. Put the drawings in your mailboxes when done.

The kids may need some of this time to finish scary drawings. Use Chromebooks to play Mr. Corey’s Emmett Till game a few times to see who can improve his/her score. Play Mr. Corey’s Types of Government Quizlet a few times. The links can be found on Thursday’s HW listing.

If there is time, have the kids draw their artistic interpretation of "I, Too, Sing America," “Democracy” or “Dream Deferred.” Finished and unfinished drawings should go in student mailboxes.
