Wednesday, September 28 Day 8
Your first objective is to try not to miss me!
E Period: Please have your checklist visible and any non-math hw out ready to be checked
While the hw is being checked, review the five types of govt and the poem with your neighbors.
Have everyone recite "I, Too, Sing America" two or three times while standing in PPP (perfect poem posture)
Three kids will volunteer or be selected via popsicle sticks to recite the poem in front of the class
We will continue to work with "All Summer In a Day" at the below address

F period: During the second period students will log on to ELA Classroom to work independently to
complete the Fall Writing Prompt

...model good public speaking and listening
...explain the key characteristics of various forms of govt.
...explain the main idea of poem with relevant and specific evidence from the text
Homework: Social studies: BSR #2 the five types of govt; ELA: BSR #2 "I, Too, Sing America"
