We will analyze "Mother to Son" to decide the mood of the mom as she talks to her son. We will revise our answers to include transition words.
We will go back to Mesopotamia to talk about the ingredients of civilization and tomorrow's check-in on writing.
SWBAT: explain the accomplishments of the Sumerians, be able to use transitions words, cite and explain evidence from text, model good public speaking and listening, and revise written work for clarity, accuracy, and thoroughness.
