I will pass back the Incantation check-ins after a couple of kids answer questions they overlooked.
We will analyze LH's classic poem, 'Mother to Son"
We will fire up the time machine and visit Mesopotamia.
SWBAT: cite text evidence to explain the symbolism in Mother to Son and decipher the meaning and use of dialect in the poem, name and explain the six levels of Bloom's Taxonomy, model good public speaking and listening, and explain how geography, farming and writing led to the rise of civilizations along major rivers
